Employers use criminal background checks, personal refereces, former employers and even credit checks  to screen a potential candidate for employment. Many are taking to social media such as Facebook and Twitter to incorporate additional details into the screening process, but instead are eliminating otherwise qualified candidates because of their personal Facebook acitvities. Is this a fair practice?
