THE GOODNESS OF GOD

 

For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works.The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
