EPISODE 196 "BIRDS OF A FEATHER"

The company you keep can do one of two things (depending on several circumstances): it can either say a lot about you OR in can give people the worng idea about you. Funny how that works but let me break it down. You see, if you keep up company with just ONE type of person because you feel like you can only hang with "people thats like you" then well if all you hang around are ignorant thugs or stuck up suburbian types well then people will assume you are the same way. Of course, if you are a well rounded person and you hang with a multitude of different types, say people who are smart and conservative some times, or sometimes you hang with hoish party girls, well depending one the circumstances you may be viewd differently. This is how the world works. In law enforcement they always say the criminals hang with criminals. So they tend to use this as en excuse to "profile" select groups of people. Of course, if I have a friend or family member who happens to be a criminal, but I'm not, it begs the question should I really hang around them often. Should I even totally disassociate myself  with them, just to avoid a possible mix up. Nothing worse then hearing a story of a college kid getting killed in a drive by cause he was hanging with his thugged out cousins he grew up with. Or maybe when you ladies are out with a known HO cause she is your girl and yall been girls forever, so people try you like they try her. But them ya folks right..so why should you have to pick? Questions 1) If you know a real friend had a bad reputation would you still hang with them often? 2) Have you ever got cought up in a bad situation just because someone THOUGHT you were a certain type because of who you are with? 3) Do you assume people that hang around a certain type of person often are the same type themselves? 3) Is it flaw for people to become successfull and cut ties to friends or family becasue they may not be living how they are lving?
