EPISODE 173 "YOU LIVE HERE NOW"

America,"THE MELTING POT" as they like to call it, although some of the ingredients never seem to blend in all the way. We probably have to most people per capita from ANOTHER country here than anywhere else on the globe. Thats because for all it's faults, its still one of the best countries in the world. So when people come here they have a tendency to bring their OLD countries traditions and ways of living here. Now I am not saying that when you move to somewhere new you abandon where you can from. BUT what I am saying is, REALIZE THAT YOU DON'T LIVE THERE ANYMORE! To put it simply, if where you was at was so great that you wanna REP it, you should have STAYED THERE! BUT it wasnt, so you MOVED and YOU LIVE HERE NOW! This doesn't sink in with some people though. SOME people want to bring the way of life, language, and culture HERE and expect for US (those who were born here) to just accept it, and even worse, CHANGE TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR THEM! The NUMBER ONE ARE this is prevalent is those from south of our border NOT wanting to learn English but want to be AMERICANS. You know Im no conservative or a racist, BUT IF YOU WANNA LIVE HERE LEARN ENGLISH! IF YOU OWN A STORE YOUR SIGNS SHOULD BE IN ENGLISH! Its that simple, I dont give a damn WHERE you are from, AFRICA, RUSSIA, wherever. YOU LIVE HERE NOW. SO YOU ADAPT TO THIS OVER HERE, NOT IN REVERSE! Just how I feel about it, AND THIS GOES FOR AMERICANS WHO COME FROM UP NORTH AND MOVE DOWN SOUTH!(OR VICE VERSA!) So here goes: 1) DO YOU THINK PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES NEED TO ADAPT TO OUR WAY OF LIVING (LANGUAGE, LAWS, CUSTOMS) IF THEY WANT TO LIVE HERE? 2) DOES IT ANNOY YOU WHEN PEOPLE IN A PLACE OF BUSINESS TALK IN A NATIVE TONGUE IN FRONT OF YOU WHEN YOU PATRONIZE THERE? 3) HAVE YOU HAD A CONFLICT WITH SOMEONE FROM ANOTHER REGION/COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY TRIED TO DO THINGS HOW THEY DID IT "WHERE THEY FROM"? 4) SHOULD WE MAKE ENGLISH THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE?
