Sometimes people can live life with blinders on. It may be a way to cope with a problem that they have no answer for, or it may be that they don't even know that a problem exist. I think we all have been a guilty of this at some point in our life. We just don't like to look at the ugly side of ourselves or someone we love. Instead we just Deny the Obvious, that we or that person is an alcoholic, abusive, has a gambling problem, or sometimes that they really don't love you. Sometimes the OBVIOUS TRUTH is so painful or difficult to face it's easier to Deny it. But the thing about that is it ALWAYS comes a point that you can't deny it anymore. This phenomenon isn't just closed to people, there are governments that practice this, mainly our own. We are in denial that this country is going in the tank , but it in fact is if we don't change a lot of things. American car companies denied the obvious when they thought that building sub par cars would somehow still outsell the Japanese. Denying the obvious is something that every race, sex, nationality of people do, every country does it, artist and musicians do it, athletes do it. So here are the questions: 1) HAVE YOU EVER DENIED SOMETHING THAT WAS OBVIOUS ONLY TO LATER ASK YOURSELF "I KNEW IT ALL ALONG, WHY DIDN'T I SEE IT"? 2) WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE NUMBER ONE THING PEOPLE DENY THAT IS OBVIOUS? 3) HAVE YOU EVER DENIED THE SOMETHING THAT WAS OBVIOUS BECAUSE YOU LOVED ANOTHER PERSON? (WHAT ABOUT IT YOU HATE THEM?) 4) IS THERE AN ADDICTION THAT YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE BUT DENY IT BECAUSE YOU THINK IT MAKES YOU APPEAR A CERTAIN WAY TO PEOPLE? 5) HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO LIVE WITH SOMEONE WHO HAD AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM BUT DENIED IT AND HOW DID YOU HANDLE IT? 6)HAS DENYING SOMETHING THAT IS OBVIOUS EVER GOTTEN YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HURT PHYSICALLY?
