Join violinist and educator Jennifer Wade for her weekly show exploring the particular challenges and rewards of private music instruction in young children. Each show is dedicated to exploring one particular aspect of instruction, such as how to motivate children to practice, the pros and cons of learning to read music versus playing by ear, and exciting new developments in the neuroscience of musical brains. Callers with questions for our host or featured guests are welcome to participate in the second portion of the program.
