Officer Adrian Schoolcraft attempted to expose wide spread New York City Police Department Corruption. In order to prevent disclosure of an illegal quota policy for summonses and arrests, high-ranking members of the New York City Police Department unlawfully entered Officer Schoolcraft’s home, had him forcibly removed in handcuffs, seized his personal effects, and had him admitted to Jamaica Hospital Center against his will. These high-ranking police officials, under false and perjurious information, indicated Officer Schoolcraft was emotionally disturbed. Officer Schoolcraft was involuntarily committed in Jamaica Hospital Center’s psychiatric ward for six days. Officer Adrian Schoolcraft has filed a civil action in United States District Court Southern District of New York, against the City of New York, members of the New York City Police Departments, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, and at least two doctors: 10CV 06005. He is seeking twenty-five million dollars in damages. On October 21, 2010, we will be discussing this recently publicized incident allegedly committed by several high-ranking officials of the New York Police Department. We expect to be joined by at least one of the attorneys working on behalf of Officer Schoolcraft.
