Connor Kianpour is a fifteen-year-old aspiring writer who was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Hopeful that his writing career may someday take off, the young author wrote "Heavy" as his first published work. Though short in it's length, Kianpour trusts that his first book will make a change in people who read it.

Connor was overweight from infancy, and learned to cope with all of the problems that came with being overweight. Though, at times it seemed as if the world was against him, Connor later realized that the world was actually teaching him the most valuable lesson of all. Based on a series of true stories from the author's life, "Heavy" is a written with a refined hope for other who are left alone to face life's complications.
