Today marks the start of Easter Week (Holy Week). We are blessed to have Father Brian McWeeney, Director of Ecumenical Affairs and Inter-Religious Activities for the Archdiocese of New York, to discuss HolyThursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Joining Father McWeeney is Rev. Marcos Miranda, Sr. Pastor at Action in Christ Int'l Church and President of Christian Clergy - an organization dedicated to ending the persecution of Christians and other minority faith groups around the world.
This week is not only time to repent; it is also a time to reflect on what we have done to ourselves, to other people and how our relationship with the L-rd make us better people. This is the time to ask and pray for forgiveness and to be thankful for all your blessings.
Easter is a religious holiday, observed primarily by Christians. However, you don't have to be Christian to appreciate the holiday and today's show.
