Darren Baptiste - Creator of The Cop Watch App

Darren Baptiste, born in Trinidad & Tobago in 1967, migrated to Canada as a boy, and grew up in and around Toronto. He's a computer programmer by trade, mas player, panman, and traveller at heart. He plans to see the whole world. He's been to 6 continents, but still has 159 countries left to visit. His first book, a motorcycle adventure travelogue, “Goin’ Toco”, chronicles his 4-1/2 month solo trip from Canada to Trinidad & Tobago.

Recently, he launched a new iPhone app called Cop Watch. It’s his attempt to have a positive impact on the issue of police violence.
