Richard Wingfield: Preacher Extraordinaire

Reverend Richard W. Wingfield serves as Senior Pastor of the Unity Baptist Church of Braddock, Pa. He is a graduate of Geneva College at the Center for Urban Biblical Ministry, and received the Bachelor of Science degree from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, Pa. He is also a dual graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with the Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Ministry degrees. Currently, Dr. Wingfield is pursuing the Ph.D. in Communication and Rhetoric at Duquesne University, where he also serves as adjunct faculty, as well as an adjunct faculty member of Geneva College Pittsburgh. He is the husband of the former Vanessa Clifton and they are the proud parents of three adult children and three grandchildren. Dr. Wingfield joins John on today's show to talk about how he prepares to preach and his thoughts on current events, including the election, racism, and ministry during the pandemic.
