Do you know how long you sit during the entire day? Sitting for long periods is damaging to your health. Do you sit for 6 hours or more? For many of you sitting at work and home you may be totaling 10-12 hours of sitting. When you sit for extended periods you are limiting your circulation. Your cells which make up everything in your body and brain and are dependent on good circuclation to deliver oxygen, nutrition and help detoxification of their waste products. The lymphatic system, a tiny network of vessels and nodes, completes circulation through the body and brain. Helping to improve your lymphatic system with a more alkaline diet, basic supplements, exercise, lymphatic drainage sessions or self-ymphatic drainage can counteract the negative effects of sitting for long periods.
