My show tonight is celebrate the life and work of actor-director-filmmaker BILL HINZMAN, who passed away just a few short days ago. Bill was a frequent guest at film conventions all around the country. Bill loved everyone and everyone loved Bill. He is perhaps best remembered as the graveyard zombie in original 1968 George Romero classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. He continued in horror films for over 50 years, in which he acted, produced, wrote and directed dozens of films. He also reprised his role as the graveyard zombie in 1988's the FLESH EATER. Bill played the first modern ZOMBIE in this film which re-invented the ZOMBIE GENRE.
He was also a gracious and kind hearted individual that is a favorite among his peer and fans alike and he will be sorely missed.
