Veronica Tomor is the author of The L.E.A.N. Guide for the Business Traveler, which provides healthy eating tips for busy people on the go and overall eating healthy advice. At the time the book was written, she worked for the pharmaceutical industry and spent the last 3 years in the health outcomes division of a major company for diabetes.
As a healthcare professional, she’s worked in hospitals, health plans, and almost every aspect of delivery of healthcare. Veronica serves on the Women’s Leadership council and has represented the association regarding the need for more education in nutrition and physical activity for the general population.
She contributed to Michele Obama’s LET’s MOVE open forum, providing input to areas of deficit in physical fitness & nutrition in children and youth. She's been a liaison for the WeCan® program, a NlH evidenced based, nationally recognized program – to fight childhood obesity in the U.S.
