Gratitude

In the month of November, our thoughts turn to giving thanks. Gratitude is an integral part of life in other cultures, much more so than here in the United States. The events of the past week--Hurricane Sandy's destruction--really bring the value of gratitude to the fore. Tonight Jennifer will be talking about this wonderful concept of giving thanks--how other people build it into their daily lives, what the ancients thought of it, what modern sages believe, and oh, yes, what the dead people have to say on the topic!
