JAZZ QUEEN'S SMOOTH JAZZ MUSIC SHOW

Welcome to two hours of the absolute best in smooth jazz music. The first hour is the cd spotlight. The second hour is the smooth jazz mix. This week’s featured cd is singer Douye's "Journey." Nigerian born, now Los Angeles based, Douye was influenced by such Jazz and R&B legends as Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, Billie Holliday, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Sade. Her debut cd, Journey, is a perfect reflection of Douye’s musical and life experiences leading up to her exciting emergence as an independent singer/songwriter.
