To Defend and to WIN

Michigan- As the fall quickly got closer to Winter we found out that in Basketball some things just never change. As the Michigan Wolverine Football team held its hat on defense and toughness. The Basketball Team continues to provide less and less resistance as far as defense goes. In its loss to UCLA, the offensive minded Wolverines were tied with the #2 ranked team in the country 50-50. Before, giving up another 52 and only scoring 34 to lose 102-84. The Michigan Basketball program has seen many solid years. Until they can defend though we will always see a team that is just destined to fight for an NCAA Tournament bid and lose to stronger more physical defensive teams.
