Coati Mundi aka Sugarcoated Andy Hernandez has served the entertainment business in various capacities as Actor, Composer and Stage Performer. Originally from Spanish Harlem NY he was a founding member of the Grammy nominated group Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band “Cherchez la Femme” and of the critically acclaimed Kid Creole & The Coconuts. 
 
Dancing For The Cabana Code In The Land of Boo-Hoo” is Coati’s latest solo record release.  The mixed genre dance record has garnished rave reviews, including The New York Times, The Village Voice and The LA Weekly. Coati’s music, also licensed for films, including “Musical Chairs” directed by Susan Siedelman, “Gloria” directed by Sidney Lumet and “Our Idiot Brother” starring Paul Rudd.   Coati will be seen in the upcoming film “On the Road” directed by Walter Salles, produced by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart.
