It isn't very often you find an individual as talented as our guest, Mike Shiflett. Not only an accomplished actor in his own right, Mike is an extremely talented musician.

His portrayal of Senator RMT Hunter in Spielberg's recently released film,  'Lincoln', shall certainly acquaint movie goers with his outstanding acting ability. A diverse actor, Shiflett has portrayed the lead as Honorable Hugh McCullough in TV's 'Killing Lincoln', the Father in Animal Planet's 'Ice Cold Killers' and lead role of Ray Copeland in Discovery Channel's 'Murder at Midnight', to  name a few.

Mike has a theatrical background as well as performing in various TV Commercials.Yet this only touches the surface of Shiflett's accomplishments for music is yet another passion he embraces. He has performed as backup vocalist/keyboard synth in live performances with Johnny Mathis, Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, Aaron Neville, Billy Joel, Dione Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Elton John and Paul Williams. Need we go on?

Perhaps a bit, for Mike Shiflett has produced, written and performed his own songs and played the role of advertising  jingle/songwriter for well-know names as Jordache Jeans, Club Med, Levi's 501 Blues, Power Rangers.
