Richard Keifer, Retired FBI Agent and Expert Polygrapher

Richard Keifer is an expert polygrapher, a former FBI Agent of 26 years, and expert interview and interrogation specialist. He has supervised more than 20,000 polygraphs, and has conducted three to four thousand polygraphs personally. Richard earned his Bachelor in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Masters in Education from the University of Virginia. Richard is a former FBI National Polygraph Program Manager, HQ Polygraph Supervisor, Polygraph Examiner, and Polygraph Training Coordinator. Richard Keifer is a nationally recognized Speaker in Chart Evaluation, and a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Virginia where they developed an Advanced Polygraph Studies Program. Richard Keifer was at one time the President of the American Polygraph Association, as well as a member of American Society of Testing and Materials, the Florida Polygraph Association, the FBI Agents Association, FBI Society of Former Special Agents, and the American Society of Industrial Security. Since his retirement from the FBI, Richard has gone into private practice and currently operates Keifer Group Investigations.
