Notre Dame coaches have kicked the recruiting into high gear but is it too late for the 2017 class? With the departure of Tarean Folston to NFL dreams and Justin Brent to transfer the running back stable could be depleted in 2018 as Notre Dame's leading contributors at the position (Josh Adams and Dexter Williams) could leave for the NFL. It's very unlikely that both Adams and Williams would return for a senior season. While the Irish do have 1 running back commit and early enrollee, CJ Holmes, it's important to pick up another in the 2017 class. Besides running back, Notre Dame needs another receiver commit. On defense, a commit from all three levels of the defense would be much appreciated.
