WE NEED FATHERS IN OUR HOMES So, Let's bring them back. Our guests today are: Former No Limit Records artist, "Mr. Servon" and Author, Victor M. Lee. Co-Hosts: Albany State University students, Kandis Tate and TWEEZY! Guest Co-Host: ASU Student, Destiny. Background information -- According to 2009 U.S. Census Bureau data, over 24 million children live apart from their biological fathers. Children who live absent from their biological fathers are, on average, at least 2-3 times more likely to be poor, to use drugs, to experience educational, health, emotional and behavioral problems, to be victims of child abuse, and to engage in criminal behavior than their peers who live with their married, biological (or adoptive) parents. On the other hand, children living with both parents, inclusive of a father, are more likely to achieve more, so statistics tell us, as well. Join us, (Ms. CeCe and Talia,) this Saturday, in honor of the celebration of Father's Day for this necessary conversation about honoring our great Dads and saving our lost Dads.
