For centuries, the church and state (the government) have been regulated to separation. The legal doctrine “separation of church and state,” was derived from the English political philosopher, John Locke; and the phrase “separation of church and state,” was later coined by Thomas Jefferson, in 1802. This phrase is in direct correlation to the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. iPositive Talk Radio will discuss how the Baptist church is beneficial to educational programming. "How do you feel about prayer returning to the school? How do you feel about the church aiding the education of our students?" Joining us in the village for this prolific discussion are, our (Ms. CeCe and Talia) renowned and dynamic Senior Pastor, Dr. Daniel Simmons, of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Albany, Georgia and Dr. Portia Holmes-Shields, First Woman President of Albany State University, First Woman CEO of Concordia College, a Living Black History-maker. Again, join us (Ms. CeCe and Talia) in the Village on iPositive Talk Radio.
