iPositive Talk Radio is a subsidiary of HIP HOP GROWS UP, Inc. gathering our village to create solutions for our youth and our future. If the tree represents the village, we need to get back to the roots! Hip Hop mimics the West African tradition of the griots, groups of traveling singers and poets who tell stories. We will discuss many of the stories told today and review the evolution of the types of stories told since the 1980’s until 2010. Hip hop’s chief audience is our young people. What stories and messages are we telling them today, considering the state of our youth? Our guests for this panel are Hip Hop Artist & New Legend Jonathan Jaz-O Burks, Gilbert Morris of STAND-UP ENT., and O.G. Edwin “Crazy Eddie” Myles of the Universal Zulu Nation and the International DJ Trade Association – I.D.J.T.A.
