Dr BJ Howlin is a Professor at the University of Surrey in the UL with a

PhD in Chemistry during which I got interested in crystallography and computer graphics. I

spend most of my time lecturing in the Chemistry department at the University of

Surrey but teach and research, mostly in computing. I have been interested in

mythology from an early age,

I followed this up with reading about other religions than my natal Roman

Catholic and got interested in the Qaballah and meditation at university. Coming from a

dysfunctional family I also got heavily into self help psychology and from that into

mysticism. My claim to fame is that I read all the books recommended in the Druid

course before I started but needed the course to give me structure. My wife gave me a

copy of the Book of Druidry, which I read and put aside for several years until I read

the Druid Way and thought 'Wow, you can live this stuff!' and here I am.
