Arent you glad that God can not lie?

Its impossible for Him to! I dont know about you- but sometimes  I need to be encouraged. I have to encourage myself in The Lord & of course I have my friends who encourage me when I need it- and I encourage them when they need it. Sometimes we have to take hold of the hope  set before us.  I always loved this scripture - because when we go through trials - no matter what the circumstances look like !  Keeping in mind that God can not lie - encourages me - to take hold of that hope set before us-  and cling to our refuge- The God who can not lie.

Hebrews6:17- In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath

Hebrews 6:18 - so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope that lies before us.
