“Based out of Atlanta, GA and established in 2016, The Twotakes are an alternative rock band influenced by music from “The Golden Age of Rock” to present. Finding a balance between alternative rock, pop & rock and roll, our debut album “Submarine Races brings something new to the music scene while paying tribute to the styles we know and love.”

The future of music is in good hands.

“Just when I think the Atlanta music scene couldn’t produce a finer crop of bands than the ones I’ve heard in recent years, along comes The Twotakes bursting forth from the brow of Zeus with a debut album that leaves me shaking my head and wondering just how much better local Atlant groups can possibly get. I’ve been aware of this band for about 24 hours, and I’m already sold.”

Matthew Trautwein from “Submarine Races” Review

The Front men are Giovanni Marcello Turra on guitar & vocals, and Josh Riccio keeps the beat of the group, along with Beau Anderson on guitar and Chase Brown on bass.  Right out of the starting gate, these guys show no signs of needing to hone their craft, even though are young (20s).  Such musical maturity amazes me.

The Twotakes’ newest release, Shame in December, 2018 & Danger Waver are two of my favorites.  However, every song I have listened to has been added to My Favorites Playlist, and the live show videos are energizing.

Take a listen—you will be hooked on their sound as Paige and I are.
