Tribute to David Powell

In the years following the publication of his autobiography “My Tour in Hell: A Marine’s Battle with Combat Trauma” in 2006, David went on to help hundreds of veterans through his candid public speaking events, cable television appearances, outreach to veterans groups, and with individual vets and their families.  In 2007, he was the keynote speaker at the Vermont Veterans Combat Stress Symposium (www.VermontVeterans.com).  In April 2011, David passed on after completing his final book “REBOOT! Confronting PTSD on Your Terms -- A Workbook” which will be published in June 2011 from Loving Healing Press.  David is survived by his wife Susan and his children.
