Actor and producer Sangeeta Agrawal talks about her films "Five O'Clock Shadow" & "Birds in Flight". Dial 347.884.8997 to ask a question.

Sangeeta Agrawal grew up in Mumbai, between the colorful chaos of the bustling metropolis and the peaceful shores of the Arabian Sea. She came to love all the contrasts that define the human experience. At the age of 21, she moved to the United States, and was once again inspired, by the great cultural melting pot that is America, learning to respect so many contrasting human philosophies, and most importantly, coming to a greater understanding of herself. Meeting people from all over the world, hearing the sounds of many new languages and tasting the delicate flavors of countless international cuisines, has been a sensual roller coaster, upon which she still rides today, with her hands in the air, and the wind in her hair. Sangeeta started painting on a whim, mainly to decorate her own home. She hopes that her love of color and form comes through in her work.

Sangeeta caught the acting bug in college, winning many awards in Mumbai, including Best Actress, at Jagruti, an all-India theater competition. She continued to pursue her passion for theater after moving to the US. After acting in numerous plays over the years, she has recently ventured into film. Sangeeta recently won the Best NRI Actress Award at the Delhi International Film Festival 2015, for her first short film, A Good Match.
