Mississippi native Cyrus Webb aka C. A. Webb has been involved in the arts for the past decade as a visual/literary artist, poet,radio and tv show host as well as the founder of the magazine Conversations. Over that time he has interviewed over 1,000 influential and up-and-coming individuals about their passion, their journey through life and how they are using their skills to make a difference in the world. Through his entertainment entity Shadow Play Entertainment, Webb has also served as publicist for authors, recording artists, fashion designers and speakers who use his influence and contacts to reach a larger audience for his clients. In Nov. 2006, Webb started Conversations Book Club, a co-ed reading group that offered free membership to book lovers of all backgrounds and nationalities. Today the book club is one of the largest co-ed reading groups in the United States, prompting the Chicago Tribune to write in Jan. 2008 that "Oprah Winfrey might want to watch her back."
