INTERVIEW: Director Jason Burns, "Adults Only"

Known more for his comic book projects, Jason M. Burns has created a web project for YouTube starring well-known stars like Danny Nucci, Vincent Pastore and Brian Austen Green, among others. Called "Adults Only," the online film follows an out of work former Olympian who finds a job at an adult store. 

The comedy in “Adults Only” is similar in style to sitcoms like “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX and “The Office” and "Community" on NBC and others.  To date, there has been an overwhelmingly positive response to “Adults Only,” its preview trailer received a 96% funny rating (out of 100%) on the comedy website www.funnyordie.com.

For Ape Entertainment (San Diego), Burns has worked on many comic book projects, including Shrek, Megamind, Kung Fu Panda, and Richie Rich.He also spent time writing at Archaia Studios (Lost Angeles) for Fraggle Rock, and IDW Publishing (San Diego) for Jericho.  Burns served several years as editor-in-chief on DreamWorks Animation (Los Angeles) comic book titles, working directly with the licensing department.
