William Grefe has made his mark in the indie world with such films as "Impulse," "The Naked Zoo," "Death Curse of Tartu," "Stanley," "Mako" and so many others. His claim to fame is the B-Movie, often shown as a double feature with lots of popcorn. He put Florida on the cinematic map using its natural beauty and dangers to draw people into his stories. Perhaps his greatest lesson, however, is his ability to bring a project in way below budget, making do and doing what a true independent filmmaker does -- make it work! I look forward to speaking with this seasoned filmmaker, who will also discuss his filmmaker seminar coming up on March 31!
