My guest will be Janet Sutherland, a former Chicago radio reporter and has also worked in print news and syndicated national radio shows. While living in Ohio in 2004, she suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm which left her blind and paralyzed. During her eight years of recovery in rehabilitation and a half dozen surgeries she is now fully recovered and works in marketing at the University Hospital & Health Sciences System, Illinois’ top hospital for brain aneurysm treatment. She also heads up the Chicago Chapter BAF. She is the voive of the new BAF public service announcement, and will talk about awareness and support through recovery.
