God's Original Intent

In our last study we looked at The Interval between Genesis 1: 1 and 2 and discovered this was an undetermined period of time before the world became chaotic and without form. Something took place to change the perfect state of the created world. In it’s chaotic state God recovered the earth because it was buried under the waters (Genesis 1:2 and 9). The recovery of the earth on the third day illustrates the resurrection of Christ from the grave. From that recovery the earth is replenished and productive. Since Genesis is a book of origin or beginnings, we see that everything that has life has the capacity to germinate or reproduce after it’s own kind. From Genesis the seeds are sown and through out the Bible they mature and are harvested in the book of Revelation. This week we will look at more of these seeds and further creation.
