HUDDLE UP FOR HEROES was created by an 11 year old boy who has a passion for our Troops & a desire to see those overseas get packages from home! For info on how you can help email us at huddleupforheroes@gmail.com. Our Mission is to see that all of our Troops receive a Huddle Box full of letters, Hero Bands and other items they need to remind them of home and to bring them some level of comfort! He lives in Georgia with his parents and 9 pets & he loves our Military! His Granddad was in the Army and his Uncle was in the Navy as well as great uncles and great-great uncles who were veterans, so Military men run in his family. His parents taught him how important it is to thank our heroes fighting for us and to pray for them every day. Whenever they are out and see a Soldier he goes up to them, salutes them, thanks them for fighting for us and tells them he is praying for them. He also tries to get his picture made with them. He loves meeting our heroes. He heard about a boy named Cody who goes to the airports and welcomes the Troops when they get home and told his Mom that he wanted to do something to help them too. He remembers his Mom sending boxes over to her friend Mr. Jay when he was in Iraq and asked her if he could do that. But he wanted to send boxes to lots of Heroes to thank as many as he can. Then we decided to call it HUDDLE UP FOR HEROES. He came up with that! And he calls the packages Huddle Boxes. Our soldiers are the BEST! THEY ROCK! They are so brave & keep us & other countries safe from bad people. They are trying to start a Young Marines Group in their area and when he grows up he wants to be a Marine too! Huddle Up For Heroes is not a non-profit organization as of yet but are working on obtaining that. But they still rely on others to help them with Christopher's Mission!
