As the youngest sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, Tanya Brown has been a vocal and well-recognized speaker against domestic violence. What most people do not know is that Tanya suffered a mental breakdown ten years after the death of her sister, and spent many months in an in-patient and out-patient program.

Her experiences have inspired her to help others through her speaking engagements, her life coaching practice and through the writing of her book, Finding Peace Amid the Chaos: My Escape from Depression and Suicide. In her revealing and thought-provoking memoir, she shares her personal experiences to help others develop effective coping skills necessary to manage stress, anxiety, depression and healing after loss. She presents her intimate journey of self discovery and finding peace.

Tanya is a certified life coach and has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She is an advocate for mental health awareness and is dedicated to removing the stigma associated with mental illness. She has traveled all over the country to speak and has spoken at the 6th Annual World Conference to Promote Mental Health and Prevent Mental Illness in Washington D.C. Tanya is dedicated to promoting the significance of integrating self-care for a life of optimal health.

She has been seen on Dr. Drew, Larry King Live, Good Morning America, The Early Show, The Insider and other national media outlets to speak on the epidemic of domestic violence in our communities. Tanya Brown was recently featured in PEOPLE magazine.
