The word animal comes from the Latin anima which means life principle, breath, air, soul, and living being. Each animal is a spiritual being with a soul, and they are on a journey just as we are. In this lifetime they have chosen a different form from ours.
Whether we remember or not we made an agreement with each of our animal friends long before they physically came into our lives. It is part of our purpose as much as it is a part of theirs. Animals remember the agreement and will do what they must in order to honor it.
Knowing that animals have a purpose and a path, how can we assist them? If we are in each other’s lives for a reason and a purpose, how do we discover and achieve it? If we have the ability to know what choices they would make and what they want and need, how do we meet those wants and needs?
