Photobucket Engendering awe and astonishment, there are many discoveries on this planet that one could label as being a mystery. And usually, when something is finally classified as being an unsolvable mystery, it has defied explanation and, therefore, remains a mystery for the ages. But bear with me for a moment, and we'll journey into one so-called mystery ... that is no longer a mystery__and never was meant to be. Nor is it something that is unsolvable. It's like this: As facinating as they are breathtaking, there are three enigmatic structures that we all call Pyramids, in the land of Egypt. And centuries of curiosity, concerning their presence, has bred generations of scholars who not only think of them as a mystery but also think of them as being stupendous works of wonder. Consequently, the questions and answers, in terms of explaining who actually built them and exactly why and how they were built, has stimulated human imagination and given rise to countless exercises in conjecture. You see, the question of who built the 3 (actually 10, counting the remains of 7 smaller ones) that stand on the Plains of Giza, why and how, has long been debated by Egyptologists and historians. And, according to prevailing theory - and there is absolutely no evidence to confirm this idea - the three pyramids on the Giza plateau are funerary structures of three Egyptian kings of the fourth dynasty (about 2575 to 2465 BC). But nothing could be farther from the truth. In short, and to be blunt about it, theories concerning those pyramids are just that___nothing but the vain theories of men. As Mark Twain so eloquently stated it, "Truth is stranger than Fiction, but that is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't."
