In Romans 12,  Paul encouraged the believer to be transformed, the funny thing about his advice is the object that's responsibe for the change.  He didn't say the Holy Spirit, the word of GOD, or prayer.  Not to minimize the role of diety in out transformation,  but Paul said, "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...Your mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy, this study will show us some things we can do that will allow our minds to transform us into that which GOD meant for us to be.
