I spoke to Corey Taylor about the new Stone Sour record Hydrograd a few weeks before it came out, and we had a lot of fun talking about inappropriate swearing, how to pronounce ‘Framus,’ and how to sing after your damn spine has been reconstructed.

This interview with Buddy Guy was done just over two years ago as advance publicity for his appearance at Bluesfest in Byron Bay, and just a couple of days before his most recent album Born To Play Guitar came out. We did the interview after he’d appeared on the Tonight Show

You know Kenny Aronoff. You’ve heard him with John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan, Tony Iommi, Jefferson Airplane, Elton Jhn, Santana, Chickenfoot, The Smashing Pumpkins, and on and on and on. He also has a band called Supersonic Blues Machine whose new album is called Californisound and features guest appearances by Steve Lukather (Toto), Eric Gales, Robben Ford and Walter Trout. You can also see Kenny in the documentary Hired Gun.

Oh yeah and the background music for this one is a cover of ‘Mickey’ by Toni Basil which I recorded like 12 years ago for fun.
