Since childhood, Shane has been interested in music, growing up on country music from the 80s, 90s, and early 00s, along with some of the rock greats of AC/DC, Nirvana, and The Eagles. As a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, he has found a way to blend his favorite styles of music.

Between the ages of 10-22 shane learned how to play 8 instruments: concert percussion, guitar, drums, piano, bass guitar, ganjo (a cross between a banjo and guitar), mandolin, and slide guitar. He began writing his own music at the age of 13, with just guitar and vocals. Since then has written, arranged, and recorded all the instruments on his songs since.

In December 2017, Shane went to Emeryville with high school classmate and friend James O’Hara to begin the first recordings of what would become Expression, his debut EP that would release in November of 2018. Since then Shane has been recording, mixing, and mastering all his releases in his own studio, starting with the single “Where She Is” which released in August of 2019. “I’ve always just wanted control of my music, from when and where I record the songs to when I release them.”

At the start of 2020 Shane began teasing a new direction of his music by releasing the acoustic version of an upcoming song title “One Night”. In April he released his second EP titled Locked Away, featuring two stripped down songs that only featured acoustic guitar, vocals, and slide guitar, along with the demo of a new song titled Royal Headache. He is currently in the studio working on the follow up to this EP, releasing his next single “Too Late” on October 23rd.
