Dr.Sherman explains the characteristics and behaviors of patients who managed to change and improve their lives.Karen and I have had intense discussions about things such as forgiveness and anger and she demonstrated her superior gifts as a therapist. She listens and is sensitive to the other’s problems, but manages to bring out the best in him/her. If she can do this well online, I imagine with the more visible patient reactions she is even more successful. I asked her to return (third time’s even more endearing) and discuss Patients That Got Better. Many of my relationship guests have admitted their frustrations with those patients who refuse to do the work to get better. I wanted to know what were the characteristics of those who did, which would help explain those who didn’t. Last time I was her guinea pig, but this time I will be adding my insights, especially as on 4/4 I discussed with Delia Stafford the characteristics of outstanding (STAR) teachers.
