Ron Kaiser, Ph.D. is a psychologist in private practice, and chief psychologist at the Jefferson Headache Center at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.  During Dr. Kaiser’s half century of working with a broad range of patients, he has developed a positive psychology approach that he calls Goal-Achieving Psychotherapy.  It is an approach that focuses upon building emotional strength rather than focusing on weaknesses.  In that regard, he has developed the website. The Mental Health Gym. “Members” who join the Gym are updated with newsletters, blogs, podcasts,  and mental fitness news designed to help achieve a greater level of achievement and happiness.Dr. Kaiser’s recently published e-book, “WHAT CAN GO RIGHT? The Thinking Person’s Guide To Making Good Things Happen,” is a guidebook for replacing negative thinking with proactive measures to move forward in a positive and goal-oriented manner. It introduces new concepts and approaches for building emotional strength and getting things done.  This program will highlight some of the strategies and concepts from the book as well as in The Mental Health Gym and Dr. Kaiser’s successful work with patients.  We will also have the opportunity to discuss some of his newer writing projects:  a book of mental fitness exercises; and an overview of Goal-Achieving Psychotherapy.Dr. Kaiser ‘s e-book is available through Amazon and at Smashwords.com.  He can be reached by email at:  ron.kaiser@thementalhealthgym.com
