Dr.GENE STEPHENS - FUTURIST TELLS - POSSIBILITIES

One of Gene’s article in THE FUTURIST was the basis of his first visit. He continues his helping the understanding youth at-risk.In this progrm he discusses what are some of the problems and possibilities for the future. One of his specialties is in policing and safety such as training firefighters and police. He states that shows like NCIS and the high levels of crime detection techniques are far beyond that available for normal police. Murder is a crime that is solved much more often than not. One of the biggest present and future criminal problems is how cyberspace is abused and it is so difficult to prevent or detect the victimizer. He feels that nanotechnology is already solving many problems and as it is better understood the applications will be as significant as the Net is. Techniques of forcasting as opposed to how people think about predictions are explained so you have a clearer understanding of the usefulness of forecasting trends and why predictions are filled with misinformation, incomplete information, and often purposeful disinformation.You'll be more patient with your local weatherperson.
