CARLA LARSON STRUSS -Care-Giving

Carla is a woman who should feel that she is a CHANGE AGENT, but is too humble. She and Rod, her husband had an attitude about life that could change many lives. (From Cynthia) I visited your site to learn more about the "changing mindsets" project, and you stated you were working on a book about Care-Giver survival.  If you need any additional case studies, my sister's story may be relevant.  Her husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma only a few years after they were married.  She supported him through many cancer treatments and a bone-marrow transplant over a 16 year period (his many remissions never lasted more than 18 mo) before he died 10 years ago.  He was not an easy husband, or patient and she lost a lot of herself during this time (or never had the chance to find it).
