A native of Pontiac, MI, Jesse Cole, is the author of Walk like a King:The Young Man's Guide to Conquering the World. He has a passion for helping young people strengthen their leadership skills and enhance their personal development. Jesse is a candidate for the President's Volunteer Service Award, which recognizes the valuable contributions volunteers are making in their communities.
Cole's motto is an acronym for K.I.N.G.: Keep Investing in the Next Generation. It has also been his inspiration for creating KING Camp taking off in early September.
When he isn't speaking, Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife Shaleena watching movies and laughing.

JoAnnA “JoJo” Perkin is a Canadian-born artist. She has been a high school English teacher for the past sixteen years within the Jackson Public School District (where she has served as English Chair for the last five years, and facilitated at-risk after-school programs for thirteen years). She holds a Master’s in Education.
Perkin is a recipient of the national A Day Made Better Award, and was a 2010 Teacher of the Year.
Ms. Perkin writes a bi-weekly column for The Blazer, a local, urban newspaper. In her spare time, she enjoys performing spoken word and featuring/hosting poetry events.
