THIS EPISODE: In the second installment of "Exploring the Chakras," Jai Cross leads an investigation into the sensuous sacral chakra. During childhood, many people take on heavy dark beliefs and judgments that become lodged in the sacral area. These repressive old holdings limit our natural ability to enjoy the simple gifts of life, to thrive in our particular circumstances, and to embrace the totality of our being. However, consciously working with the sacral chakra often generates a heightened sense of delight and overall emotional well-being. This class introduces several practices that open and cleanse the sacral area, allowing us to connect more directly and more healthily with our indwelling life force. We will incorporate some brief physical movement exercises, so wear loose comfortable clothing if possible. The live hour-long presentation starts at 2:00 PM PDT.
