Even in a semi-dead period, the sports world doesn't sleep. Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo cover the asinine offseason movement in both the NBA and NHL.

How much did free agency shakeup the landscape and parity of the NBA? Are big markets no longer a big deal to players? Who's closer to returning to glory, the Lakers or Knicks? Mike says this isn't even close. Does adding LaMarcus Aldridge make the Spurs the favorite win the NBA title? Could Roy Hibbert joining the Lakers turn out to be a genius move? What should we expect for future offseasons? And because they must always be discussed, how does this all impact LeBron James and Cleveland?

They might be overshadowed in the news by the NBA, but the NHL's offseason has been equally as interesting. Phil Kessel is now a Pittsburgh Penguin! This deal looks great for Pittsburgh, but what about the Toronto perspective? Did the Maple Leafs get enough for an elite goal scoring machine? Who are some of the winners and losers of the offseason so far?

While sports in their offseasons are grabbing the headlines, Major League Baseball is at its halfway point. Mike and George briefly discuss the AL and NL All-Stars and new Home Run Derby rules. Was Alex Rodriguez snubbed?

The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show, conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
