A cluster you-know-what. It seemed like the only fitting title for this week's show. How else can you describe the state of college football and the swirling speculation on what freaking conference some of the major programs will call home? The Pac-10 is now the Pac-12. The Big 10 goes from 11 to 12 teams. The Big 12 searches for 10. The ACC pillages the Big East again, adding non-coastal Pitt and Syracuse. Huh? Yup, a cluster you-know-what is right. And that's not even half of it. Over the past few days, the college football map has been turned up side down, picked up, slammed back on the ground, and then shaken up for good measure. How does Missouri own so much clout? Where will West Virginia actually end up? What will be the future of party crasher Louisville? Should politicians be involved at all? George "the Howitzer" Gerbo (only playing at 95% vigor) and Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti will break down the whirlwind that has been conference realignment. Not that it can ever be completely covered. Don't turn your dial or click off the page after the headline. Around hour two, the HBS crew will tackle all the many topics surrounding the 2011 MLB World Series. Will Texas close it out? Does the postponement provide an advantage for either team? Win or lose what is the fate of Albert Pujols? Does legendary Cards skipper, Tony LaRussa get a free pass when it comes to criticism? George will be chugging pineapple juice throughout. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show. Conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
