The prophet like Moses will proclaim the total divine will emanating from the mouth of God, and the Samaritan woman's confession attrib- utes a similar identity to the Messiah. The dia- logue between Jesus and the Samaritan woman in John 4:7–30 describes the Messiah as the eschatological prophet in Deut. 18:15–18.
